Travelling from Dublin Airport Dublin Airport (DUB) is easily accessible, with flight connections to almost all European and inter-continental cities. From either airport terminal, Dublin city centre can be reached by coach, bus or taxi:
Coach: The Airlink 747 goes directly from outside Terminal 1 to Dublin City Centre, with a stop outside Trinity front gates on College Green. Single ticket: €6.00.
Bus: Dublin Bus operates a number of very frequent services to/from the airport, all departing from outside Terminal 1. Numbers 16 and 41 will drop you to College Green and Lower Abbey Street, respectively. Lower Abbey Street is a 10 minute walk to Trinity College. Fare: €3.05 Taxi: A taxi from Dublin airport to Trinity College or Dublin’s city centre should cost in the region of €20-€30
Travelling by Bus Bus Eireann operate buses from all major towns and cities in Ireland to Busaras (Central bus station) and Dublin City Centre. The bus station is a 15 minute walk to Trinity College.
Travelling by Train Irish Rail operate train connections from many towns and cities in Ireland to Heuston Station and Connolly Station. Connolly Station is situated beside Busaras and is a 15 minute walk to Trinity College. Heuston Station is located in the west of the city. A red line Luas can be taken to the Jervis stop and Trinity is a 10 minute walk. Fare: €1.80. Alternatively the number 66, 67 or 26 Dublin Bus can be taken to College Green. Fare: €2.35.
Dublin’s DART system runs along the coast of the Irish Sea from Malahide or Howth in north County Dublin soutwards as far as Greystones, in Co. Wicklow. The closest stations to Trinity College are Pearse Street Station and Tara Street Station.
